What Clearway is
Clearway, operated by [Legal entity name] ("we"), reads your connected calendar, works out which meetings make a trip, and shows you priced flights, hotels, ground-transport options and a timing plan, ranked by your preferences. It then hands you to the airline's, hotel's or rental company's own website to book.
What Clearway is not
- Not a travel agent or booking platform. We never make, change or cancel a reservation, and we never take a payment for one. The booking, its price, its rules and its refund terms are between you and the brand you book with.
- Not a guarantee of price. Each figure is labelled live, cached, estimated or mock. Live prices come from the provider at the moment shown and can change before you book; estimates are our models and are marked as such.
- Not advice. Leave-by times, ground-transport comparisons and per-diem checks are calculations to help you decide. Traffic, security lines and airlines do what they do. Verify anything that matters before you rely on it.
Your account
- You sign in with a Google account you control, and you are responsible for what happens under it.
- You must be at least 18, or of legal age to enter contracts where you live.
- You may connect only calendars you are entitled to share. If your employer's rules restrict that, those rules are yours to follow.
Acceptable use
Don't:
- probe, scrape, overload or interfere with the service or its providers;
- use it to plan anything unlawful, or to process someone else's personal data without their permission;
- resell it, or build a competing service from its output;
- attempt to access another user's data.
Your data
Our privacy policy is part of these terms. Your calendar and your trips remain yours; we hold them only to provide the service and you can export or delete them at any time.
Plans and payment
Clearway is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, the price, billing period and what is included will be shown before you pay, you will be able to cancel at any time from the app, and nothing described on the site as "soon" is charged for until it exists.
Ending things
- You can delete your account whenever you like; that removes your data immediately.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. We will say why unless the law prevents it.
- We may retire the service with at least thirty days' notice, during which you can export your data.
No warranty
The service is provided as is and as available. We work to keep it accurate and up, and we do not promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any plan it produces will suit your trip.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from a booking you made with a third party, a missed flight, a price that changed, or a decision you took on the basis of a plan. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars, whichever is greater. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [State / country], and disputes go to its courts, without prejudice to any consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes and material changes are announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.
